Vivo and Jumia Exclusively Release the Y30 Smartphone in Kenya

vivo and Jumia have partnered to exclusively unveil the latest Y-series device, the vivo Y30. The move aims to increase its footprint in the Kenyan market.

The Y30, which was recently launched locally, combines an Ultra O Screen, AI Quad Camera and 5000 mAh battery in a high-end device with a unique body structure and moderate price tag.

‘‘The partnership with Jumia cements our commitment to bring our customers a wide range of choices that will see they enjoy the best and premium mobile phones at the most affordable prices. We are aiming to offer more options for smartphones with high-quality standard and comprehensive functionality through Jumia to fulfil the increasing demand of Kenyan consumers’’ said Arthur Xian, CEO of vivo Kenya.

The Y30 features a fingerprint sensor on the back as well as a 6.47-inch full-screen display on the front with 720×1560 pixels screen resolution having an 82.9 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The device also sports 4GB RAM + 128GB storage.

The device will be available in two colours; Emerald Black and the Moonstone White and can be purchased on Jumia.

vivo V19 Smartphone Officially Available in Kenya

vivo has announced that its V19 smartphone would be officially available in Kenya – after initially launching the device in June and then pushing back the release.

The V19 – vivo’s first-ever Dual Punch Hole Camera phone – will retail for Kshs 40,999 and come in either Gleam Black or Sleek Silver.

The vivo V19 comes with an Ultra O Screen design with an in-display fingerprint sensor under the AMOLED screen of the phone. It sports a dual front camera which comprises of a 32MP main camera and an 8MP super wide-angle while the Quad Camera at the rear is made up of a 48MP main camera, 8MP super wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP Bokeh camera.
